Choose the custodian by record type. The official department pages provide the current phone, address, and hours, which can change and were not stated as fixed facts in the project research.
- Arrest, booking, and county jail records: use the Logan County Sheriff's Office contact page, the current inmate roster, or the current and released roster selector
- Felony and other Circuit Court files: contact the Logan County Circuit Clerk; official copies come from the clerk, not printed public search output
- Misdemeanor, traffic, city-ordinance, and lower-level matters: verify the correct route with Logan County District Court
- State criminal-history responses: use the Arkansas State Police Identification Bureau and the official Arkansas Criminal Background Check System
- City incident reports: ask the Booneville, Paris, Magazine, Scranton, or other police department whose officer created the report; a later county booking does not transfer that report to the sheriff
- Petitions to seal: contact the court that handled the case and use current Arkansas court instructions
For county booking and sheriff-created incident material, the primary route is the Logan County Sheriff's Office. Its official contact page should be used to confirm the current street address, telephone number, and counter hours before visiting or sending a request. The research did not verify a separate records-division form or published copy fee. A written Arkansas Freedom of Information Act request may identify the record, date range, creating agency, report number or names if known, requester contact, and preferred delivery format.
